In my preaching last Sunday I referred to an email I sent out to the parish Saturday morning. Some of you shared with me that you don't receive that email (check your junk mail, and send me a note to get on the list -pastor@olmcboonton.org), which made me think that I should try to get you up to speed with communications here at Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

My Blast from the Pastor emails are intended to keep you aware of what’s going on at and around OLMC and help prepare you for Sunday Mass. After any important announcements, I offer a reflection on the Gospel in a way that readies you for a more fruitful encounter with Christ at Mass.

You’ve probably heard me make reference to my podcast at this point, possibly a number of times. The podcast’s name is (get ready for this!) Father Daniel’s Homilies, and its episodes are (you guessed it!) my homilies from Mass. The podcast is on iTunes and other sites, but my posting platform is www.podbean.com. You can find me on iTunes or podbean with a simple search.

Our most important communications can be found on our website - www.olmc.church - and I hope you’ll check in there. There are some especially useful links in the parishioner portal, which you can access from the menu bar at the top of every page.

We also do a good bit of posting on Facebook, so you can check us out there as well.

Of course, none of this compares to good old face-to-face time. If you’d like to connect, let me know. If not, no worries -- I look forward to seeing you at Mass or at one of our events sometime soon.
