PASTOR'S NOTE: Nov 7, 2021

Dear Saints,

For as much as I love the fall, I find the diminishing daylight and decreasing temperatures of this season to be a perennial hardship. When coupled with the stress of sickness going around, especially in our hyper-vigilant times, it’s no wonder that we find ourselves in search of consolation this time of year.

I recently noted to some friends that my days have been going by in a bit of a blur. Have you had that experience recently? It’s almost like there are times I struggle to keep up with life. If you’re in the same boat as I am, I’m thankful for the company.

I remind myself with some frequency that God’s in control - he's got it - and he’s providing for us as we make our way together. If we can entrust ourselves to Jesus and rise to meet the demands of love today, then we can figure the rest of it out as we go - we can figure out how to overcome tomorrow’s obstacles tomorrow.

I find comfort in the fact that we’re in this together. And we are! Thank you, my friends, for your prayers, encouragement, compassion, and care. Please know that I hold you in my heart and offer you and your intentions to God in prayer every day. Please pray for me, too.

It’s amazing to think that we’ve been walking this way together for more than six years now (I arrived toward the end of October, 2015). What a time of great blessing this has been! There are many things to be thankful for these six short years, but they all boil down to our hearts being enkindled by the love of God and bringing the light of his love to everyone we encounter.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to know and love and serve you – I look forward to many more years together!

Christ’s Peace,

Father Daniel
